Meet Rich Keller,

The CATALYST

For most of his life, Rich Keller did what many of us are taught to do.

  • He chased achievement.
  • He climbed ladders.
  • He built an impressive résumé.

As a global branding executive, Rich spent over two decades helping shape some of the world’s most iconic brand identities. He understood how brands win, how they stand-out, and how a single core value can guide every decision a company makes and ultimately make a brand iconic. Over time, Rich recognized a powerful pattern. The strongest brands were built around one defining core value. What he would later call a brand’s ‘One Word’.

But after surviving cancer, navigating his wife’s cancer journey, and eventually walking away from a successful corporate career, Rich came face to face with a deeper truth.

What you do is not who you are!

And when identity is built on titles, roles, or achievements, clarity disappears the moment those things change.

That realization changed everything.

Rich uncovered his own core value in ‘One Word’: CATALYST.

  • Not a title.
  • Not a role.

An identity.

That discovery became the foundation of his life’s work.

A Wharton MBA, Amazon best selling co author of Wired to Win, TEDx speaker, host of The CATALYST Effect podcast, and keynote speaker, Rich is the creator of the ‘One Word’ Personal Branding Platform, a philosophy born from decades of building iconic brands and now applied to people, helping them uncover their ‘One Word’ core value and communicate it with clarity and confidence.

Today, Rich is easy to spot in a crowd wearing his signature Survivor Buff. What began as a reminder of surviving cancer has become a symbol of something deeper. Not survival, but identity. The Buff represents the moment Rich stopped defining himself by what happened to him and started living from who he is, his ‘One Word’, CATALYST.

Rich does not help people become someone new. He helps them discover who they already are.

Rich works with high school students navigating college admissions, college students entering an AI driven job market, entrepreneurs building business ventures, and business leaders who want to rise inside organizations without losing themselves along the way.

His belief is simple:

  • Everyone has a core value
  • Everyone has a ‘One Word’.
  • And discovering it changes how you show up, how you make decisions, and how others experience you.

WHEN IDENTITY IS CLEAR, EVERYTHING ALIGNS.

Rich lives in Florham Park, New Jersey, with his wife Sharon, an obstetrician gynecologist, and their children, Zachary and Samantha.
