‘One Word’: WORTH

My ‘One Word’ this week is: WORTH

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵?

How often do we chase it in job titles, promotions, awards, or the opinions of others?

I know because I did it for decades. And while it’s natural to feel proud of achievements, here’s the hard truth:

When the titles fade, the awards collect dust, and the applause dies down, what’s left?

✔ A business card in a drawer.

✔ A few framed photos on the wall.

✔ Echoes of who you used to be.

But here’s what doesn’t fade: your 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞.

Your 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 is the impact you create for others, not the titles or trophies you collect. It’s unshakable, timeless, and entirely yours.

And the best part? It can be captured in 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝.

That 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 becomes a compass that:

✔ Guides your decisions with confidence.

✔ Stops you from chasing validation you don’t need.

✔ Anchors you when life shifts in unexpected ways.

I’ve seen this truth play out again and again:

✔ With entrepreneurs launching bold new ventures.

✔ With college/high school students navigating applications and interviews.

✔ With business leaders climbing ladders that can feel shaky at the top.

The moment they uncover their 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝:

✔ Clarity replaces confusion.

✔ Confidence replaces doubt.

✔ And identity replaces dependency on titles or applause.

Because here’s the reality: no matter what happens to you, titles lost, careers changed, relationships ended, your core value remains.

It’s the one thing no one can take away.

So I’ll leave you with this question:

Where are you placing your worth today: on what fades, or on what lasts?

If you’re curious about this journey, I invite you to watch my 𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 (link below). It might just spark the beginning of your own 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝.
